To help you with what to do in Manchester during the New Year’s Eve 2017, here are 5 suggestions we can make;

1.  NYE Party Night at Hard Rock Cafe
It’s the funnest party in Manchester and this year will be its biggest one yet. There will be free pizza and a midnight balloon drop. Hard Rock Café offers a 3 course meal of classic Hard Rock options and a welcome drink (Choice of Prosecco or Mulled Cider) that will cost you £50. The sumptuous menu consists of Aragula Salad or Rockin’ Wings as appetizer, several choices including Grilled Salmon, Legendary Burger for the main course and the delicious Festive Brownie or Christmas Pudding Cupcake.

Additional 3 drinks from 5pm cost £20/ person. For the fans of Rock N Roll this is an ideal choice as they’ll be able to dance on their in-house band Out-Foxed.

Other extra services that are available on the night include:

–  Exclusive use of Café rooms

–  Retail items customization with company logo

–  The chance to select music videos live

Sittings are at 7pm and 9:30pm, through Link2Ticket.

2.  The Lowry Hotel
The hotel offers an elegant, and more formal way to to welcome the New Year.

The Lowry Hotel offers a black-tie, posh party that includes a four-course dinner, a resident DJ to set the tone, a lot of Champagne for everyone and impressive fireworks at midnight. The hotel will make sure that every person there will have a glass of Champagne in their hands while enjoying the fireworks just before the stroke of midnight.

While it’s much more expensive than Hard Rock Café NYE Party, it offers an excellent way to welcome the New Year with high-class foods for the pickiest of people. Their menu includes the following: lobster rillete, caviar and foie gras ganache, pink champagne sorbet, samphire, and croissant ice cream. In addition to the meal, the hotel offers freshly brewed tea, coffee or herbal infusions at a total price of £145 per person.

3.  Bass Jam – New Year’s Eve
Bass Jam offers one of the biggest parties in Manchester for those looking for something more lively. It will surely be one of Manchester’s noisemakers with its bass, grime, and house. Its line up is the most impressive of the available party choices: Lethal Bizzle, Tom Zanetti & K.O. Kane, Amine Edge & Dance, Tough Love, Philip George, Matrix & Futurebound, Michael Daapah AKA Big Shaq and very special Guest Chris Lorenzo. All will be in charge of making sure this is the go-to New Year’s Eve party this year for everyone who loves to dance and have a good time.

A ticket costs £22.40 and if you want to attend you’ll have to hurry because they’re already running low. As Bass Jam is known for throwing epic parties, any house and D’n’B fan will want to be there.

4.  Ultimate Power New Year’s Eve Party
Ultimate Power is, in its essence, a night full of the greatest songs that were ever written and can be sung on the greatest night of the year. This is one to bring your dancing shoes too! Every song played there is a classic, that will certainly brings back some great memories.  Attendees should expect to have the New Year’s Eve party of their lives! The ticket for general admission costs only £16.50 so anyone can have an awesome time singing their favorite songs of all times in the country’s biggest singalong.  For anyone who loves to sing some of the greatest ballads secure a ticket and benefit from the joyous atmosphere like no other.

5.  Rebellion’s NYE – The Ultimate Showdown!
For any rock and metal fan in Manchester, Rebellion’s NYE party is the place to go on December 31st.  It promises a lot of fun, featuring stalls, games, competitions, prizes, DJ’s, drink offers and much more. It’s one of the most affordable offers out there, the entry is only £7 for early birds and £15 on the door, but you will probably spend a lot more once you get inside.

Nobody will get bored at this party that offers so much fun, accompanied by the alternative sound we love so much.

There’s so much going on in Manchester this New Years Eve that it’s very hard to feature them all. Other places you might want to check out include NYE – Circo de Cuba at Revolucion de Cuba, Scruff & MC Kwasi’s party at Band on the Wall, the Refuge NYE Party or the party at Albert’s Schloss, one of Manchester’s favorite bars, is throwing. For those looking for a quieter (and free!) experience then be sure to be around for the Manchester Council fireworks display. This is always a fantastic spectacle, although the location of the display might have changed since last year so be sure to check out their website for full details before attending.

Your choice of where to attend might be influenced by budget, taste in music or the activities. But regardless, you need to hurry in choosing a party as for many of the most popular ones, the tickets are already being sold. One thing you should know: spontaneous nights are never a good idea.  You might think it’s ok to just fly by and try all parties in the city but without proper planning, you most likely won’t be able to get into any of them. So out advise is make a choice and stick with it. And remember; rather than worrying about designated drivers, or trying to get a taxi on the busiest night of the year, book a room at the Pendulum Hotel and bring in the new year in style.
